The Saindon family helped me not only realize the inner musician in me, at the age of 7... but also the importance of God and Church. The way their family combined their striking voices and musical abilities (everyone) to celebrate their faith. Their generosity at St Margaret Mary's and ability to solidify community was so genuine and loving. Wishing you eternal peace, Pam - thank you for the memories. life lessons and love.

I met Pam and Paul at the Newman Club at San Jose State and had the pleasure of knowing them as a young family at St. Martin's Church in Sunnyvale. I remember Pam as a sweet woman and wish we had continued to be in touch when they moved away from the Bay Area. My condolences to Paul and the family.
I received the news of Pam's passing from Sarah Larson.

I first met Pam when visiting Paul on Knights of Columbus business. My prayers and condolences go out to Paul and the Saindon family. Although I now live in Nevada I have many memories of working with brother Paul in the St. Patrick's Monsignor Hayes Council and Golden Sierra Assembly of the KofC.

When I first met Pam and Paul, I had been forewarned by Marianne that her mom knew what she wanted and didn’t want to accept anything less. They were looking for a new house and I was lucky enough to be their realtor. They were so easy to be with and I heard lots of good stories. We found a great place and they made it into a beautiful home. They were clients who became my friends.
Pam was a “presence”!

Her Life
December 16, 2020
Known as Pam to her family and friends, her quick wit and love of games made family gatherings joyful. She knew all the rules to all the games; Cribbage, Gin Rummy, Canasta, Bridge, Mexican train, and Scrabble – to name a few. A true student of Hoyle. If, during game time, she cocked her head and gave you that raised eyebrow; you knew a citation of rules was next and you would lose the argument.

Pam enjoyed the outdoors – from indoors. She loved watching for birds at the feeders along the back porch. She got great satisfaction from knowing the species of each bird and could differentiate between individual birds. Her war with Earl the Squirrel – who was never invited – was a source of frustration and laughter. Many a ceramic garden friend had to be retrieved from the ground below the deck; one game Pam did not enjoy. Earl sacrificed numerous potted deck plants in order to make room for buried acorns.

Another passion for Pam was painting with watercolors – her favorite medium. Her home with Paul was filled with original art featuring plants, animals, and still life. She especially enjoyed teaching a grandchild or great grandchild painting techniques at the dining room table.

An animal lover, Pam especially adored her cat Sassy, who predeceased her. Good thing for Sassy, because no one else adored her due to her stalking, biting, hissing ways. A rescue animal, Sassy lived a long and loved life with Pam as her benefactor. Pam’s most recent pets were two Shih Tzu dogs – rescued, of course. Daisy and Buffy provided much comfort.

Pam lived a full life; hosting dinner parties, listening to her favorite of all time, Johnny Mathis, crooning Christmas Carols and other tunes, singing in the church choir, shopping in Folsom, cocktails on the back porch with neighbors and friends, other social activities too numerous to name. She will be greatly missed by all.
